TUESDAY, JULY 13, 2010, 6:30 p.m.

Sign-ups begin 2 hours before event. Practice begins 1 hour before event time

Entry Fee-$10.00 per class

Rules:

NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED-ZERO TOLERANCE

All riders must sign a release form before participating in event.

Any rider under 18 must have parent or legal guardian signature on release form

All riders must wear a DOT approved helmet and must be strapped on.

Any rider or ATV that causes any damage to Wolfe Bros. equipment will be held liable for damages.

Studs in tires are not allowed.

Stock classes are just that. NO ENGINE MODIFICATIONS!

Nitrous can be used in Open classes only.  Main line must be disconnected in all other classes.

Wheelie bars are allowed on quads only, except for stock classes.

Panty race-you will go half track, put on a pair of panties waist high, then race to finish line. Single elimination.

Track will have boundaries.  Out of bounds will be disqualification.

When your number is called, you have 2 minutes to stage.

All racers participate at their own risk.

Starting judge’s decision is final.

**Override Mods may bump to next higher class**

Dash for Cash-Fastest combined 2 passes-Red light on any pass will add 1 second to time.

Classes listed below are just a guide.  For example:  A 440 EX can run in the 400 class.

Please ask for clarifications.  After a couple of races, all classes will have a fast time.  Any bike that breaks this time can be bumped to a higher class.

Single elimination after 100 entries

Only 1 practice run after rider’s meeting.

11. Quads Only-4 Stroke Open

12. Bikes 600 cc or Less (Tape Spokes)

13. Utility & 250 Trailblazers

14. 4 Stroke 500cc or less

15. Open Dash for Cash-(1st Place Only)

16. Automatic-No Race Mod. Engine

17. 250 R

18. 4 Stoke 350cc or Less (Blasters and 250 Trailblazers can run in this class)

THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO PIT RIDING.  IF CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED WITHOUT WARNING AND ASKED TO LEAVE THE EVENT WITHOUT REFUND.

ANY RIDER OR ATV THAT CAUSES ANY DAMAGE TO WOLFE BROS. EQUIPMENT WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES.

TUG OF WAR

TWO AND FOUR WHEEL DRIVE

WEDNESDAY, JULY 14, 2010, Weigh-IN 4:00 p.m. Starts: 7:00

Classes:

1) 4000 4WD  1st $225  2nd $125  3rd $75

NORTHERN KENTUCKY TRUCK TUGGERS ASSOCIATION

**RULES FOR 2010**

1) Driver to be weighed with truck and scales close (1) one hour after NKTTA scheduled time. (NO military vehicles.)

2) Only one (1) driver per (1) one truck, per (1) one class.

3) Driver or owner must furnish a hitch no higher than 32″ from ground to top of all hitches (vertical or horizontal). Hitch must be stationary.

4) Distance from the plate flange on rear end housing to where the hook of the cable is attached must not be more than 55″ for 2 WD & 4000lb. trucks and no longer than 60″ on 6000 lb. trucks.

5) Trucks must remain stock wheel base

A. Stock wheel base for the make of manufacturer; must be short or long wheel base for all 4WD trucks and engine/driveline must be in stock position for all 4WD trucks.

B. 2WD trucks same as A, except must be between short and long wheel base and engine must be in stock position

6) Trucks in all classes must not have any hanging weights outside of body.  (Nothing below front frame rails)

A. all 2WD trucks are not to have any hanging weight outside front of the body.

7) 4 WD truck bumpers must not stick out further than stock bumper, front bumpers are not to use as weight, bumpers must not be above head lights, and no tube type bumpers. (2 WD optional-STOCK).

8) Weights on 2WD class and 4WD classes must not exceed hitch point

A. Weight must not be higher than 36″ from top of frame.

9) All weight must be secured. If weight(s) should fall off while the trucks are hooked, you will be disqualified for that round. If any kind of body part falls off while in competition, officers and board members will decide

if this is an unsafe situation and you may be disqualified for that round.

10) During the event, drivers are to watch the start/stop lights.  When contest is over and lights have turned red the competitors are to stop!!  If one driver should jerk the other driver unintentionally &/or on purpose, that driver will be disqualified for that round. (This is for safety) No driver can open door while hooked or you will be disqualified for that round.

11) Tires MUST be Dakota Infinity or BF Goodrich All-terrain (No cut tires) No Dual Tires.

12) Rims must not exceed 16.5″, unless the truck came from factory with 17″ rims. (Factory size)

13) 2 WD trucks are to have only one transmission and no transfer case.

14) 4 WD trucks are to have only one transmission and only one transfer case.

15) All trucks in 2WD & 4WD classes must not have differentials and/or axles

to exceed the size of ONE ton.

A. No planetary rear ends.

16) All trucks must have bedsides, with secure cover from rail to rail and from cab to rear-end OR in 4 WD bedsides with secure cover over rear U-Joint do not need cover from rail to rail and cab to rear-end and/or flatbed, that is the width of cab & must go to the rear of the tires.  If a bed is questionable then it is to be inspected by the officers and board members.

17) All trucks must have some type of spring suspension and blocking is allowed.  All trucks must have a safety loop on the rear drive shaft and all 2WD trucks must have at least one working rear brake, other than a driveline brake.

A. Rear of spring can be slipper type, must have chain or U-bolt underneath spring with no more than an inch play.

18) No trucks can go in reverse when hooked while light is green.

19) A. For 4WD trucks if a tire(s) touches the side white line while hooked when light is green or red, that truck will be DQ for that round.

B. For 2WD trucks the side white line is to be used as a wall, if you cross, touch, hang over, or land on, while hooked when the light is green or red-you are DQ for that round.

20) If your tire (pulling or non-pulling) becomes un-beaded while hooked you are disqualified for that round.

A:  If both trucks blow a tire at the same time there will be a 5 minute allowance to repair and they will tug again.

21) Any combination of weights, hitches, and/or gas tanks, that is considered to be unsafe to driver, judges, and/or to general public, will not be allowed to participate in the contest.  No gas tank in cab of truck unless factory.  If battery is 18″ or closer to the gas tank, then the battery must be in an enclosed battery box.  (This is for safety)

22) Pit crew can not be on track (between white lines and only one pit crew member between lights) after you are hooked or you’ll be DQ for that round.

23) Class judges, have the right to make a “safety call” when needed, and/or has the right to give a 2 minute warning.  The trucks have an option to re-hook one time, with one minute.  No Jockey!  Judges decisions are final.

24) If alcohol is a factor with a driver competing, they WILL NOT be able to compete in that event.

25) ZERO TOLERANCE!  Any competitor (driver and/or coach) that gets in a heated argument or fight will be asked to leave that event, regardless, and be told he will not be allowed to be a competitor in the next event.  (Truck is out also)

A. If a fan from an NKTTA event causes a heated argument, that fan will be asked to leave that event.

26) If a NKTTA truck wants to pull in their county only class it is up to that county. A truck must be a member to pull in the championship, and must have pulled at least 2 pulls as a member.

A. Membership points:  1st place = 10 points, 2nd place = 9 points, 3rd place = 8 points, 4th place = 7 points, 5th place = 6 points, The top 5 members will receive these points regardless of placement. All other members will receive 5 points.

B. Any member that sells/trades their truck will keep their number and points for a season and the truck must become a member with its new owner or kept out for the season

27) No firearms at any NKTTA event.

28) When re-weighing trucks, pull on scales and if truck is overweight, pull off scales and clean mud or dirt from truck.  Pull back on scales, if still overweight, you are DQ.  Will still receive show-up points.

29) All rules have grey areas, but all rules will be interpreted and enforced by officers and board members.  (any questions talk to Lewis Cleaver or Michael Greenwell)

30) If a truck is illegal during or after a pull, truck loses points, position, and money (except for weight or out of bounds) for that night.(will not receive show-up points)
